Kidderminster Harriers (0) 1 Barnes-Homer (46)
A late score update on the blog, as the Great Wimbledon Flu Epidemic seems to have made its way to the Anonymous Don. That serves me right for standing behind the dugout…
Kidderminster escaped with the points from Kingsmeadow yesterday after a solid performance combined with too many Dons players having an off-day. It was by no means smash and grab as the visitors created a host of chances, Matthew Barnes-Homer taking the all important one at the start of the second half after the Dons defense went to sleep, allowing the impressive frontman time to turn and plant the ball in the corner from the edge of the area.
It was enough to win on a low scoring day in the Conference as the eleven fixtures managed only twelve goals between them.
Keep ’em peeled for the match report… DISCLAIMER – may not be ready until tomorrow… I am ill after all…
